The service
DROP Ops provides a self-hosted compliance agent for California DROP deletion-cycle obligations, a dashboard showing operational status, and license management. The agent runs in your infrastructure; the dashboard receives counts and status only.
Your responsibilities
You remain responsible for your own legal compliance, including executing the deletion worklists the agent produces against your systems, directing your service providers to do the same, and the accuracy of the consumer records you provide to the agent. DROP Ops is a tool, not legal advice, and does not guarantee regulatory outcomes.
Subscriptions and cancellation
Plans bill monthly through Stripe and can be cancelled any time from the billing portal. On cancellation or non-payment your license stops verifying and dashboard access ends — but the agent is deliberately designed so that a running or scheduled compliance cycle is never blocked by billing state.
Software license
Your subscription grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to run the dropagent binary within your organization's own environments for the purpose of DROP compliance. You may not redistribute or resell the binary.
Warranty and liability
The service is provided as-is during this early-access period. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees paid in the preceding twelve months. (Counsel: this section in particular needs your attention.)
